About Chyloe (Shy-lo)
Born in Colombia in 1983 and raised in Chile, I moved to the United States at 15. My love for tattoos started as far back as I can remember, and by the late '90s, I was already tattooing my classmates (don’t do that).
My journey has taken me around the world, landing in Europe, where I immersed myself in the rich tattoo culture. From there, I worked at the world’s oldest tattoo shop, Tattoo Ole in Copenhagen, and was fortunate to tattoo at Colorblind alongside the legendary Neils.
Back in the U.S., Florida became my home. I worked at Famous Tattoos by Lou, the first tattoo studio in South Florida, and Merlins Art Attack, where Miami Ink was filmed, helping spark the tattoo revolution of the 2000s.
Over the years, I’ve done guest spots across the globe—from California to New York, from the northernmost point of Norway to the southernmost tip of Chile and Argentina. I’ve also competed in tattoo conventions worldwide, earning multiple awards along the way.
Now, I’ve landed at Golden Tarot Ink Club, where I proudly call home. Tattooing is my passion, my muse, and my life. With over 20 years in the industry, I bring my full dedication to every tattoo. My experience spans multiple styles, but my heart is in American and Japanese traditional. Whether it’s a fine-line tattoo or a full back piece, I strive to create something timeless for each client.
